TRUE LIFE STORY: My dad and my career

Meeting a vibrant and handsome charming youth 'Vivacious Donatus' who resident at No. 14 Prince Ademola Oloyede Street Igando Egan, who spoke to us how his heart is filled with emotional pains, discomfort, discouragement and stuttered life due to his father advice's and act,

According to 'Vivacious Donatus' who is 19 years of age says "My dad always get me angry concerning my singing life and acting skill. Each time he hears I wanna go for an audition or a photo shoots, he will say NO to it"

Whenever I demanded reasons for his actions saying NO, he will say his trying to protect my interest when I put in for Nigerian idol this year, he never gave me the courage and support me, and still I was selected to the next stage.

But with the words which he always speak to me if not of the zeal and courage I have in my singing, acting and modeling life, I would have given up because his words are so broken hearted.

brethren, am so sad, that was how I was evicted from the competition cos I was not settled in my heart with those painful words and discouragement of act he put in.

The recent one that happened, he made me loose an appointment in the movie industry after I have been selected and the day of me to go there again for an audition, he said NO.I dis-agreed and left the house. He went after me in his car with my mum and brother and finally my bro got me back cos he went on motorbike.

When I got home I was so angry and I hid a knife with me, waiting for my parents to come back. When they arrived he tried laying his hands on me then I brought out the knife and I wanted to kill myself since he don't want me to move ahead with my talents. I was about to use the knife before my bro and dad dived me and hit me I was bleeding, then they kept every knife in the house away from my sight.

I don't know what to do, I have lost many opportunities, the money I use in registering myself in a modeling agency have all lost cos he stopped me from moving ahead my Dream, and the annoying part is that, his not the one givining me the money not even the money I use for Transport fair. Cos If I tell him I have no money for transport fair he will never give me, rather he will ask me to sit down and am so emotional that I get broken over situations.
