Beyonce's father and former manager Matthew Knowles is almost declaring bankruptcy and for that reason, he claims he can't afford to take care of his only son he had from a cheating affair.
Knowles reportedly asked a judge to reduce the $12,000 monthly child support he pays his baby mama, Alexsandra Wright, with whom they share a 3 year old son, Nixon Knowles.
We earlier reported that he may have formerly refused to accept the kid and even hesitated to come forward to take care of his needs. Now he says he can't pay that high amount of cash because he's broke!
Matthew reportedly used to make $3 million a year before his daughter fired him in 2011. Recent facts hold that he raked in just $127,000 in 2013. Knowles also claims even though his income has been slashed, his expenses remain sky high -- $51,000 a month. To make up the shortfall, he's liquidating his assets, according to TMZ.
Well, seems his plea was heard loud and clear. The family court judge apparently validated his financial plight, and reduced his child support from $12,000 to $2,485 a month.
