How does one celebrate after selling a product to Apple for $3 billion? Shell out on a massive estate!
Such is the fabulous life of Dr. Dre. It's been confirmed the music mogul has officially purchased Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's green-friendly mansion in Brentwood, Calif., for a cool $40 million — $10 million less than the genetically gifted duo's asking price.
For $40 mil, Eminem's mentor just landed himself 18,298 square feet of awesomeness. (So much extra space to do activities!)
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Selling LA Palace for $50 Million — See Pics Inside
Let's list what else this mega mansion has to offer, shall we?
—8 bedrooms (one for each toe on one foot and three on the other foot)
—9 bathrooms (one for almost each toe)
—6-car garage (hey, everyone needs room for their 5+ Bentleys)
—A gym (duh — how else do Tom and Gisele look so physically fit?)
—7 fireplaces (just in case the first five don't make Dre warm enough)
—Cobblestone motor court (what dreams are made of)
—An infinity pool (it's not like a regular pool, it's a cool pool)
And that's just the beginning.
Tom bought the property for $11.75 million in 2008 and turned it into the fortress it is today.
Dre, who's the founder and CEO of record label Aftermath Entertainment, has good reason to celebrate lately. The news comes one week after Apple officially announced it was purchasing Beats Electronics and Beats Music, co-founded by the rapper and Interscope-Geffen-A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine, for a staggering $3 million.
Something tells us the father-of-five has probably popped a few bottles of Cristal in his new pad already.
As for Tom and Gisele, they're doing just fine building yet another palace fit for a king over in Boston. Enjoy the view, East Coast.
