Capcom's Xbox One exclusive launch title Dead Rising 3 is finally making its way to PCs via Steam this summer. PC gamers will be able to turn up their settings to take advantage of the upgraded textures and high resolution afforded by PC graphic cards. The game includes full Steam support with achievements, cloud saving, trading cards, and leaderboards. In addition to keyboard and mouse, there's also full controller support, which can be switched in real time.
Dead Rising 3 is set 10 years after the events of Dead Rising 2. The city of Los Perdidos was long ago overwhelmed by the zombie hordes that infest the rest of the country. You play as Nick Ramos, a young mechanic trying to rally survivors and escape before a military strike wipes the city off the map. Utilizing his way with machines, Nick can craft a vast array of weapons and vehicles using scrap found throughout the city, allowing for nearly endless possibilities of mowing down hordes to your exact tastes.
Dead Rising 3 has sold over 1 million copies to date for Xbox One, and Steam's 75 million-plus users should help to grow that horde by at least a little. It will be available for download globally and at retail in Europe this summer.
