'The concept of the video seems 'tart' to me, an 'art' before its misconstrued
With the release of her music video 'wanted,' Tiwa savage of the Mavin crew quickly became the recipient of negative criticism from the public and her peers. A notable one among them is, Nollywood producer and director Charles Novia.
The Seductive nature of the video obviously didn't appeal to the director Charles Novia who took to social media recently, to vent his disappointment. In his tweets, he was clearly disturbed and unhappy with Tiwa and her husband Tee Billz, who has stood by his wife and calls the video art.
Lashing out at the couple, some of his tweets read, " Whatever her hubby likes about her body should remain in the bedroom. Imo a video where a wife simulates fingering is gross"
He went further to say "Rihana exposes her breasts and booty and a mad fever grips almost every Nigerian female act to also show their own t##i, haba." See his tweets below.
Celebrities like Nollywood actor Uti Nwachukwu and Gbemi Olateru of Beat 99.9 Fm have however risen in Tiwa Savage's defence and told Charles off saying we couldn't be hailing Beyonce and Rihanna for sexiness and hating on Tiwa or any of our own female artistes for releasing a sexy video.
