England's Reanne Evans beat Hong Kong's Ng On Yee 6-0 to claim a 10th Ladies' World Snooker title.
Evans, 28, became the first female qualifier for the main stages of a ranking event by beating Thepchaiyah Un-Nooh at the Wuxi Classic last June.
In 2010-11, she was handed a wildcard to the World Snooker Tour, but failed to win a match throughout the season.
World Snooker are set to hold a Ladies' Day at the Crucible on Thursday to get more women involved in the sport.
Chairman Jason Ferguson said: "We were delighted with the response to the first Ladies Day last year.
"It adds an element of fun to the day while generating interest in snooker, and raising money for a great cause as well.
"We are very keen to get more women involved, especially as we are one of the few sports with total fairness in terms of who can participate."
