REAL MADRID 3-1 ATLETICO MADRID

GOAL: Game, set and match for Real. Carlo Ancelotti's men are on the verge of their first Champions League for 12 years. Nobody closes Marcelo down as the Brazilian runs at the defence and squeezes a shot underneath Thibaut Courtois. It's all over...

REAL MADRID 2-1 ATLETICO MADRID

What is Iker Casillas doing??? The Real goalkeeper has 10 white shirts in front of him but decides to race 15 yards out of his goal to punch clear. He fails to do so, but Atletico can't capitalise.

By the way, what a week this could be for Wales. Aaron Ramsey scores the winning goal in the FA Cup final. Gareth Bale scores what looks to be the winning goal in the Champions League final!

24/05/2014
REAL MADRID 2-1 ATLETICO MADRID

GOAL: It's Gareth Bale for Real! That should be the winner now! Angel Di Maria drills the ball across goal and Thibaut Courtois' save sees the ball loop up in the air for Gareth Bale to nod into an empty net at the far post!

GOAL!! Real Madrid 2 (Bale) Atletico Madrid 1

REAL MADRID 1-1 ATLETICO MADRID

We are under way again in Lisbon and, without really threatening, it's Real Madrid who have started the brighter of the two teams after the restart. Atletico continue to sit very deep.

Diego Simeone charges on to the pitch as soon as the referee blows the whistle for half-time. He moves his players out of the way and proceeds to stick his hands in ref Bjorn Kuipers' face! He's clearly not happy that he added on five minutes at the end of the second half. I have to say, taking into account the substitutions and the amount of time it took for Filipe Luis to leave the field, it seemed fair enough to me.

HALF-TIME IN EXTRA-TIME: Real Madrid 1-1 Atletic
