BEIJING (Reuters) - China's embassy in Vietnam issued a warning on its website urging Chinese firms and staff to take security precautions against possible violence, following protests to denounce China's setting up of a giant oil rig in the South China Sea.
"China's embassy in Vietnam once again reminds Chinese firms and staff in Vietnam to take security precautions and avoid unnecessary trips outdoors," the embassy said in a statement with Tuesday's date posted on its website.
