Cheryl Cole is a recording artist from Newcastle upon Tyne.
She became famous from her audition on Popstars in 2002 and has been recording music and modeling for photo shoots ever since.
Cheryl Cole's birth name is Cheryl Ann tweedy. She was born in June of 1983 in Newcastle. The main genres that she is known for include pop, dance and R&B.
She is a singer, songwriter, dancer and television personality. She has been active since 1990.
The labels that she currently participates with are Fascination, Polydor and will.i.am. She is associated with a variety of acts including will.i.am and Girls Aloud.
In 2009 she released her first solo album, 3 Words and her second album Messy Little Raindrops followed quickly after in 2010. Her third album A Million Lights, came along in 2012. She has earned three BRIT Award nominations since 2009 as a solo artist.
She was married to Ashley Cole in 2006, but the couple broke up in 2010.
Cole began singing with the popular UK group, Girls Aloud. The band had 20 top ten singles in the UK, consecutively back in 2005-2010 and achieved six platinum records. The group has been nominated for five BRIT award nominations.
