Chris Brown looked trouble-free and noticeably healthy as he got a special award at the 2nd Call Benefit Dinner on Friday night in Los Angeles for his charity work.

The singer who heads the Symphonic Love Foundation – an organisation which creates and supports arts programs for young people – also reportedly launched a Unity Campaign in 2013 to encourage love for all races as well as the LGBT community.

In his brief acknowledgement speech, the Fine China singer apparently thanked the organisation for choosing him [giving his strings of legal mishaps] for the honour and praised them for their works in the community. He pledged his support for them and hopes to continue working with them again in the future.

According E! Online,  "he has also finished his court-ordered 90-day rehab stay, but has opted to stay at the facility a little while longer for further treatment. His fans will be happy to know that he will be coming home soon."

There are reports that his new album X would be released on May 3.
