After all that then, Chelsea failed to go four points clear and the attention turns to Manchester City and Arsenal, while Sunderland will be hoping to frsutrate City again and move out of the drop zone.

It could all go off tomorrow. See you there!

Player Reaction West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic: "We are not happy to draw 1-1, we came here to win but this is football, this is life.

"We were unlucky but we have to concentrate on the next game."
22:24
Manager Reaction West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
West Brom coach Pepe Mel: "I am very pleased. The players worked hard and were strong. If we scored the goal earlier, we would win the game.

"Chelsea were in front, for me today is a good day. The players performed very well and for sure, if we scored a goal before them, we would win the game.

"The team were compact, good lateral movement and good dropping off. They pressed high and showed good mentality.

"1-1 against Everton, Liverpool and Chelsea. Now we need to win our next game. West Brom next season will be in the Premier League.

"The players need to win matches. It is good on the pitch when the match finishes and West Brom has won. We will go for warm weather training to Spain to work together and for tactics."

Jenni in Newtownards: Where are all of the Big Sam haters now? Where are all the fans who were calling for his head a few weeks ago? What a turnaround he has masterminded. He's got the balance right by keeping it tight at the back and nicking goals at the other end. Effective management.

Injury Update Hull 0-1 Southampton

Hull City boss Steve Bruce on Paul McShane's injury: "The X-rays are clear. His ankle is in a horrible position. We expect ligament damage - we'll find out how bad the injury is tomorrow. It disrupted us for a while."

On the game: "Southampton are an excellent side. We had to be at our best and we weren't. We went too long and direct to our strikers too often.

"We have to be honest - the better team won. We were never away from it [the relegation zone]. We've got 12 games to go. We're in a decent situation. It's all to play for."
22:13
West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "I was feeling it. I was feeling that we only thing we could do is defend well. We were not strong enough to get out in the last 10 minutes. The game doesn't end until the last whistle and the defensive mistake led to the goal."

Preshy: (external) This is why this league is regarded as the best in the world...so unpredictable..

Miracle Roch (external): The owners now justified for sticking with Sam "Allardici"

Colin Michael: (external) I'm an Arsenal fan and I just can't call this season, points being dropped all over the place. Massive game tomorrow
22:10
Manager Reaction West Brom 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: "We were comfortable in the game, maybe too comfortable. We didn't kill the game when we had the chance.

"In this moment we have one more point than before. If Arsenal and City win tomorrow they go above us but that is their job. Every game is difficult and every team needs points."
22:05
Manager Reaction Hull 0-1 Southampton
Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino: "We put in an amazing shift. We dominated the entire game from start to finish. We're very happy with the performance.

"The entire team always plays for each other. That's the Southampton way.

"It's very important we take it game by game. We focus on the next game ahead. Now we'll be focussing on the FA Cup game away at Sunderland which is an important match."
22:05
Manager Reaction West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: "In the last 20 minutes they put us under pressure and they scored a goal as a consequence. Maybe they deserved that point. A point is a point and at the end of the season we will see.

"I think the game for 60 minutes was completely in our hands, West Brom didn't put one foot in our box. We couldn't kill the game."

George Jenkins (external): You can't win at the Etihad only to draw at West Brom, it just cancels it out and undermines the achievement

Tim Horslen (external): Mourinho just making sure that Chelsea don't win the title this year, so when they smash it next year he can say: "I told you so."

Luca Goodman (external): 1-1. Disappointing but perhaps fair? Our little horse needs a little more milk yet for games like this.
22:02
Manager Reaction West Ham 2-0 Norwich

Norwich boss Chris Hughton: "We only have ourselves to blame. You've got to be able to capitalise on your chances, especially away from home. We did everything perfectly up until their first goal but then we made an error.

"Their goalkeeper had a good day but we managed to get into so many good positions and you have to put one of them away."
22:01
West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
Martin Keown - BBC Radio 5 live at The Hawthorns
"Without doubt a missed opportunity for Chelsea, they should have won comfortably but credit to West Brom for getting back into it. Emotions are spilling over at the end and you start to wonder who is going to win this Premier League?

"It was almost like a boxing match, West Brom were on the ropes and covering up but Chelsea were out on their feet at the end. Tactically, Pepe Mel maybe have done a number on Jose Mourinho today. If you look back, this may cost them at the end of the season.

"Samuel Eto'o was lonely up top, they didn't commit enough to win the match. Chelsea were hanging on at the end."

Luke Ebbs in Surrey: Credit to Pepe Mel, his side have now gone behind and drawn to Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton at home.

Adam Guest: Not a good time for Sunderland to go into bottom three. Next three league games are Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool away!!
21:59
What a comeback for West Brom then. The psychological boost of climbing out of the bottom three - no matter how long for - could be massive. Just look at West Ham.
21:58
Manager Reaction West Ham 2-0 Norwich
West Ham boss Big Sam Allardyce: "I'm delighted, it was a hell of a game Norwich gave us tonight. I had the chairman ringing me up to say we had not won under lights this season or last and that was in my mind.

"Our goalkeeper kept us in the game and we scored late, when it is hard for anybody to come back into it. It's a great end to an important run of fixtures. If Norwich continue like that, they will have no problems. They were very good and gave us a good game."
21:57
Manager reaction Cardiff 0-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert: "I thought David Marshall pulled off two world-class saves in the second half - the one at the end and the one earlier to his left hand side.

"Second half, I thought we were excellent and on another night we would have come away as winners.

"If you pick up points away from home they'll take you a long way in this league, so I'm happy with a point."

21:56
FULL-TIME West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
A huge roar rings out around the Hawthorns, and what a result that could be at both ends of the table. Branislav Ivanovic is livid, absolutely steaming.

Chelsea break away and it's Eden Hazard, he rolls it across for Willian....and a brilliant block from Craig Dawson!

Jamie Atkins (external): Arsenal get smashed by Liverpool, but could still be top of the league within the week. What a season.

Conor McMeekin (external): Why Mourinho refuses to go to kill teams off amazes me. Why play to defend a 1-0, it makes no sense?!

Keval Shah (external): Does anyone want to win the title? All the top teams are slipping up. At this rate it'll only take 80 points to win it.

West Brom 1-1 Chelsea
Martin Keown - BBC Radio 5 live at The Hawthorns
"You have to give credit to Pepe Mel who made substitution after substitution of attackers. Victor Anichebe made good movement in the box and it was a wicked ball into the box from Saido Berahino.

"Just when you start seeing a champion in the making in the Premier League, it turns on its head."

21:45
GOAL West Brom 1-1 Chelsea - Victor Anichebe (87 mins)
Was it a bad decision to send Gary Cahill back on? The Chelsea defence is all at sea as Saido Berahino sends a cross in from the left and Victor Anichebe gets there ahead of both David Luiz and Petr Cech to flick a header in off the base of the post. Another twist in the title race, another turn in the road to relegation...
21:44
West Brom 0-1 Chelsea
Problems here for Jose Mourinho. Gary Cahill has pinged a calf by the looks of it and he is coming off to join John Terry on the injured list. But wait - he's back on! Bit of game management?
21:43
Final Five West Brom 0-1 Chelsea
Into the last five minutes at the Hawthorns where the hosts are applying some pressure at last. David Luiz has a handful of Victor Anichebe's shirt but gets away with it. A goal here would do the Albion the world of good.

West Brom 0-1 Chelsea
Still just over 10 minutes to go at the Hawthorns, where goalscorer Branislav Ivanovic has been booked for squaring up to the linesman. He was furious about something.

Craig Dawson then has a real chance for the Albion, heading over from six yards out...
