Hollywood Actress Goldie Hawn
It seems those that are against the Anti-Gay Bill signed into law by Nigeria's President, Goodluck Jonathan, is increasing by the day as Hollywood actress and activist, Goldie Hawn, has joined those rapping the Nigerian leader for assenting to the bill.
The actress, a well-known supporter of gay rights, had met President Jonathan at the recently concluded World Economic Forum in Switzerland, and gladly took a picture with him which she shared on her Twitter account, with the words; 'wonderful president of Nigeria'.
But hardly had the picture gone out than she had a barrage of attack by her fans and gay people all over the world, dissing her for fawning over an anti-gay president and praising him.
Goldie Hawn's reaction was to quickly take down the tweet as well as apologizing to her fans and followers.
She did not stop at the apologies and regrets, but went ahead to call President Jonathan's anti-gay actions "very fear-based" and "full of hatred," amongst other scathing words.
Read her tweets here and tell us what you think about Goldie Hawn and her likes who think Nigeria committed sacrilege by signing the bill into law.
