Ghana midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng is optimistic of a Black Stars call-up soon, despite the embarrassment of talents available to
coach Kwesi Appiah.
Adjei-Boateng, who is owned by Manchester City, but plays for Stromsgodset, told Liquidsportsghana that he is aware of the competition in the Ghana midfield but is ready to fight for a spot.
"In Ghana, everyone is a midfielder so it is always difficult.
Kevin-Prince Boateng and Michael Essien are very good so I have to work harder and wait for my chance," the midfielder, who scored eight goals in 17 appearances to help
Godset to win the Norwegian league for the first time in 43 years last season, admitted.
"It was one of my best seasons. I made a great impact on the team (Stromsgodset) and was one of the three top scorers," the Right to Dream graduate stated.
He added: "Kevin-Prince Boateng is my idol. I like the way he plays. He plays just like me and likes to be around the 18 yard area every time to attack. I also have my own qualities and will work hard to get the platform to display it."
