TOP TECH: Camera++ updated with bug fixes, optimizations, and video mode

A while back, I told you about Camera++, an advanced camera application designed for both the novice and professional, that focuses on how an image is taken rather than editing. Camera++ offers an array of features and different modes so that users have more control over configuring and adjusting their images to capture the picture shot.

A new version is now available to download and purchase that brings with it bug fixes, UI optimizations, and additional options as shown below.

• Added video modes (with multiple resolutions, bit rate mode and bit rate settings)
  • 1.1. Video - standard video recording at 30 FPS, with multiple resolutions available
  • 1.2. HDR video - Passport only, records HDR video at 30 FPS, with multiple resolutions available
  • 1.3. Fast video - records video at 60 FPS, available resolutions depend on hardware
• UI optimizations for better contrast
• Some bug fixes
• New permission MICROPHONE must be granted to enable video recording

Camera++ is priced at $2.99 and is compatible with all BlackBerry 10 devices.
