SOCIAL NETWORK: Twitter for BlackBerry 10 updated with new features and enhancements

With Twitter seemingly on roll with adding new features as of late, I was expecting aTwitter for BlackBerry 10 update and lo and behold, one has now arrived and is currently filtering through BlackBerry World. Jumping into a base version of 10.5, this release adds several new features and enhancements to the native Twitter experience.

New features and enhancements in Twitter version 10.5 for BlackBerry smartphones are:

• View animated GIFS in Tweets
• View embedded videos in Tweets
• Mute functionality -Ability to stop displaying Tweets from selected users
• Emoji icons in Tweet composer
• New look for Tweet composer
• View web content in the application directly or in the browser (optional through Settings)

That's a pretty healthy update to the app, so if you've not updated as of yet be sure to get it downloaded. It should be showing for most folks already but if not, just search for Twitter in BlackBerry World and it should show the update as available.
